1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and password, or third-party authentication tokens.
  • Profile Information: We store information you provide for your profile, such as your username, display name, and avatar.
  • User Content: We store the posts, images, comments, and interactions you create.
  • Usage Data: We may collect technical information like your device type setup and crash telemetry to improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Provide and maintain the Tunited social experience.
  • Manage your account and provide customer support.
  • Monitor and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the application.
  • Send you news about Tunited by email, such as new games or features, but only if you ticked "Send me updates related to the Tibetan community" when you signed up.

3. Data Storage and Security

We use industry-standard services (like Supabase) to store and protect your data, on servers in Stockholm, Sweden (European Union). While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share information when:

  • It is necessary to provide the service (e.g., displaying your profile to other users).
  • It is required by law.
  • It is needed for technical debugging (e.g., crash reports).
  • With Google, to show ads in the games (see "Ads in the Games").
  • With Brevo, a French email service with servers in the EU, only to send those news emails. Brevo receives only your email address and username, and only if you ticked that box.

5. Ads in the Games

Tunited's games (Wind Horse and Tibetan Alphabet Solitaire) may show ads, provided by Google AdMob. There are no ads anywhere else in Tunited: not in the feed, chats or profiles.

  • Ads you choose to watch: in a game, you can choose to watch a short ad for a reward, such as extra moves, extra hints or more levels. Nobody has to watch one.
  • One small banner: on the level map of Wind Horse, a small banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen. It never shows while you play a level.

Your consent: if you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choice the first time you open a game. If you don't agree, you can still play and earn rewards, but the ads will not be personalized. On iPhone, Apple also asks whether Tunited may track you; if you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your iPhone's advertising identifier is not shared.

What Google may collect when it shows an ad:

  • Identifiers of your device, such as the advertising ID (Android), or on iPhone the advertising identifier only if you allowed tracking.
  • Your IP address and your approximate location based on it.
  • Which ads you see and tap.
  • Basic information about your device and the app, such as the model, system version and language.

Tunited does not give Google your account, your posts or your messages. Tunited only receives overall reports, such as how many ads were shown. To learn how Google uses this information, see How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your choices:

  • Change your consent: in Tunited, go to Settings → Legal → Ad choices (shown where the law requires it, after you have answered the form).
  • iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can delete your advertising ID.
  • No games, no ads: if you never open a game, Tunited never shows you ads and never asks Google for your consent.

6. Your Rights and Controls

  • Access and Update: You can change your profile information within the app settings.
  • Data Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via the "Delete Account" option in the settings menu.
  • Blocking/Reporting: You have full control over your interactions and can block any user to stop seeing their content.
  • News Emails: Every news email has an "Unsubscribe" link. You can also write to us at tunited2026@gmail.com and we will stop.

7. Children's Privacy

Tunited does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
